Marco Pierre White Marco was a lad from Yorkshire brought up with love for italy. He started cooking at sixteen in the Hotel St George in Harrogate as runner for the head chef. He then moved to the box tree at Ilkley. He then worked at La Gavroche under albert roux at the age of 19. Then Nico, Pierr Koffmann, Raymond Blanc at the Manoir Aux Quat 'Saisons. Opened "Harveys" in 1990, and then went on to open the "Canteen".
